The Fiji National University will this week graduate another batch of apprentices coming out of Fiji’s National Apprenticeship and Training Scheme run by FNU’s National Training and Productivity Centre.
A total of 68 proud apprentices will graduate at a ceremony on Friday, August 29, 2014 at FNU’s Nasinu Campus in Suva.
Ranging from various trade and technical areas, the graduates have completed study programmes of between four and five years at organisations throughout Fiji.
Apprenticeship is a form of post-secondary school training that teaches skill levels and competencies necessary to perform tasks to industry standards.
Apprentices will also receive allowances, certifications and study tours both local and overseas, fully-funded by the University.
FNU’s National Training and Productivity Centre is the custodian of the National Apprenticeship and Training Scheme in Fiji.
