The event is being held at the Vinod Patel Park in Ba.
Principal Agriculture Officer West, Vinesh Kumar said that the purpose of the show was show farmers assistance avenues available to them.
“The main reason we are hosting the show here in Ba is to enable the farmers to come and make use of the services provided from our different departments,” Mr Kumar said.
“We have so many farmers around here and this will be an opportune time for them to come and meet with our staff.”
Allowing the service to be more convenient, the Agriculture Show will also be providing veterinary services for livestock.
The Veterinary stall will be including livestock medicines and veterinarian assistance at affordable prices.
“Health check up for livestock’s will also be provided at a very cheap price,” he said.
“There will be medicines available for example de-worming and there will also be veterinarian assistance.
“So farmers can bring their livestock to the grounds and get them checked up,” Mr Kumar said.
The public will be expecting entertainment from the Animal Health and Production Demonstration whereby the “Bee Man” will present together an oratory competition from primary and secondary school students, today.
Stalls will be open till 9pm; the show will be ending this Saturday.
