South Pacific Stock Exchange
FijiCare Insurance Limited has quoted additional 496,921 shares on the South Pacific Stock Exchange trading platform during pre-open session yesterday through its Dividend Reinvestment Scheme.
The South Pacific Stock Exchange chief executive, Jinita Prasad, FijiCare Insurance declared a dividend payout of $0.05 per share on May 14 for a total sum of $323,804.00.
She said the amount paid out in cash dividends totalled to $65,405.08.
“The remaining shareholders opted for dividend reinvestment whereby $258,398.92 was reinvested at $0.52 per share increasing the total quoted securities by 496,921 shares,” she said.
FijiCare Insurance Limited’s current market price is $0.63 with a total of 6,973,002 shares now quoted on the platform.
Ms Prasad said with the current performance, FijiCare Insurance’s price earnings ratio stands at six times with a dividend yield of 7.94 per cent and market capitalisation of $4,392,991.26.
The earnings per share for the company is 10.50 cents.
