Fiji Airways says the inaugural South Pacific Tourism Expo will be a good avenue for our national airline to promote its enlarged South Pacific network.
The expo will be held at the Pullman Hotel in Auckland, New Zealand, on May 22 and 23.
Fiji Airways managing director/chief executive, Stefan Pichler, said they are supporting the event by offering travel support for some local partners to attend the South Pacific Tourism Exchange.
“We will support the South Pacific Tourism Expo as it hosts industry stakeholders from the region and hopefully gets the attention from many overseas buyers,” he said.
“It is therefore a good avenue for us to promote our enlarged South Pacific network.”
Mr Pichler stressed the airline’s plan to double its regional network as part of its 5 year Master Plan.
“So we will use all opportunities to promote our new services and increased flight frequencies,” he said.
Along with Fiji Airways, Air New Zealand has also thrown in its support for this inaugural event.
