When it comes to used Japanese vehicle imports, Automart has been one of the top companies in Fiji providing essential services and supply of vehicles to suit the Fijian transport, tourism and earthworks industry. Many successful businesses of today have all started with used vehicles and have done really well on the back of some of these cost effective and efficient vehicles.

Automart first started in 1988 with only one branch in Lautoka. Over the years, it has established other branches in Nadi, Suva and also in Labasa.

Company chief operating officer, Hasmukh Patel, said: “However, we were continuously evolving and by listening to our customers’ needs.
“We ventured into Heavy machinery and trucks of all kinds as needed by the industries.
“If you see the trend from the past 20 years, most buses, mini vans, tourist transports, taxis and trucking have all used and continue to use these used imported vehicles.
“We have also on many occasions imported specialised vehicles such as garbage compactor trucks, handicap transportation buses and cars.”
