Airport seen as big tourism boost

A leaked document on a proposed airport development in Vanuatu says it could increase passenger numbers through the country by more than two million a year.
The pre-feasibility document, leaked to the Daily Post, outlines the forecast growth the airport in South Efate could generate.
The Daily Post reports passenger numbers could increase from 400,000 last year to 2.7 million by 2025.
It reports the development could open Vanuatu up to five major Asian centres and require a total loan of $US165 million
