Tuckers Ice Cream yesterday opened its first Fiji retail outlet. This is at the Damodar City complex in Grantham Road, Suva.
Goodman Fielder general manager Chris Zaayman was pleased with their new business venture. Goodman Fielder makes Tuckers ice creams in Fiji.
“I am pleased that we have reached this far and it is good to see a lot of people present here today,” Mr Zayman said.
“It was not easy to come up with a location which would attract people of different ages. I hope that people will enjoy the different flavours that we sell and we will see how our first retail outlet goes,” he said.
The company has recruited 16 staff members and will recruit more if the need arises.
Goodman Fielder is a major Australasian food manufacturer and marketer. Its Fiji headquarters are in Vatuwaqa, Suva.
