Suva
Jade Hair and Beauty Salon has surely transformed the hair salon industry in Fiji through its outlets in Suva. And now, it is time for this hair salon which initially opened in MHCC, to expand.
The first phase of expansion was to open an outlet in Damodar City in Raiwai, Suva which was opened in the past week.
The second phase is to open in the Grand Pacific Hotel on April 18. This has all been possible through the vision of owner, Fang Fang Wu Jamnadas, who now plans to dedicate as more time in her hair salon business.
As always, Mrs Jamnadas is introducing her new ideas but this time, fine-tuning it with international expertise and products.
For interior design, expertise of the owner of Von Rhein Design Fiji, Bronwyn Probet, was sought.
With new concepts, Mrs Jamnadas has also introduced world-renowned product exclusive worldwide for salons only – L’Oreal Professional.
While this is available only at the Damodar City outlet at the moment, L’Oreal Professional will also be made available in a few weeks at the Jade MHCC outlet.
Improving services
Training local staff is at the top of Mrs Jamnadas’ to-do-list which is why she has brought in a Swedish lady, as Jade lecturer and consultant – Ulrika Rylander.
Ms Rylander has 17 years of experience in the industry and has been trained in London and Australia.
Jade Hair and Beauty Salon staff now undergo training, particularly for L’Oreal Professional products and international standard cutting, styling etc three times a week under the guidance of Ms Rylander. But training not only in this sense, but also as to how best to serve clients.
