The journey for business excellence has begun once again.
Representatives from nine new organisations participated in the Fiji Business Excellence Awards 2014 Applicant Information seminar which started in Suva yesterday.
They are part of 40 participants from some 12 different organisations.
This was organised by the Fiji National University’s National Training and Productivity Centre.
Director, Kamlesh Prakash, said the adoption of Fiji Business Excellence Awards framework encouraged good management practices which translate into better results.
“The business excellence framework provides a self-assessment tool for undertaking regular health checks of an organisations management systems and processes,” he said.
“The health checks help the organisation not only identify its strengths, but also opportunities for improvement so that it can take actions to continuously improve.”
This year marks the 16th year of awards.
