A cashier of Rups Big Bear in Sigatoka was on cloud nine yesterday after winning a Hyundai Elantra GLS fully-loaded vehicle thanks to MH Homemaker and Digicel’s Diwali promotions.
Kelera Mateisuva, 29, spent only $50 and was one of the winners of the $200,000 promotions.
Mrs Mateisuva said she had just opened her new account at MH Homemaker before making a $50 deposit so she could buy her LED Flat Screen television and a DVD player.
She said she was surprised when she found out she was the lucky winner.
“I did not believe it when Satish Narain called me on 30th of November last year to inform me of the win.
“It was only when I went home that my family told me too the same news and I knew from there it was true,” said the mother of one.
Mrs Mateisuva said she and her husband had other plans for the car she had won.
“We are going to sell the car again so we can buy a new house because we are renting at the moment.
“This will also help us in supporting our only child who is two years old.”
MH Homemaker general manager, Ameer Hussain said this promotion was just one of their big promotions they host annually.
He added they had also received a positive feedback from their customers through this promotion.
Mrs Mateisuva was presented her car keys yesterday at the Carpenters Hyundai showroom in Walu Bay, Suva.
